London ETO promotes Top Talent Pass Scheme in Helsinki

London ETO and Hong Kong Talent Engage supported the Hong Kong Top Talent Pass Scheme seminar held at the University of Helsinki. Around 60 participants attended the event, including students and graduates, representatives from the University of Helsinki, and professionals from the business and education sectors.
Promoting Higher Education in Hong Kong

London ETO joined hands with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to co-host an inspiring evening in London, highlighting Hong Kong’s position as a hub for world-class higher education. Opening the event, the Director-General of the London ETO, Fiona Chau, highlighted the city’s international connectivity and dynamic opportunities for global talent. Professor Eunice Seng, the Head of Department, was joined by four alumni, to share the experience of studying at HKU and how their study continues to shape their professional journeys. Their stories offered valuable insights into the advantages of pursuing postgraduate studies in Hong Kong and the global opportunities that follow. To find out more, please click here.
London ETO celebrates Hong Kong Cinema at London East Asia Film Festival 2025
London, October 23 – November 2, 2025
London ETO, the Film Development Fund, and the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are pleased to support the London East Asia Film Festival in showcasing four Hong Kong films and hosting two question and answer sessions with creative talents. An opening reception was held on October 23 at the National Portrait Gallery in London, welcoming over 100 guests from the local cultural and business sectors. To find out more, please click here.
London ETO supports violin and guqin fusion concert in London
London, October 16, 2025
The London ETO supported the “Golden Oldies Timeless Strings” violin and guqin fusion concert organised by the Ming-Ai (London) Institute. Around 80 guests enjoyed an evening of fusion music, complemented by an innovative presentation of watercolour paintings showcasing Hong Kong’s cultural heritage.
Networking with students in London
London, October 15, 2025
London ETO hosted a sharing session with around forty students from the International Relations Society and the United Nations Association of University College London. The event highlighted Hong Kong’s unique role under the “one country, two systems” framework and shared how the London ETO works to strengthen connections between Hong Kong and the UK, particularly in areas such as talent development and policy outreach. It was encouraging to meet so many bright young minds eager to understand international dynamics and explore opportunities across borders.
