London ETO promotes Hong Kong's art tech in London

London ETO co-hosted a reception with Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) to promote the latest developments and investment opportunities in Hong Kong's art-tech sector. The reception highlighted the latest advancements in art technology, explored pathways for commercialisation and industrialisation, and showcased the breadth of investment opportunities available in Hong Kong's fast-growing art-tech sector. It also celebrated the successful London showing of "Wayne McGregor: On The Other Earth", the world's first post-cinematic choreographic installation, co-produced by HKBU, the Hong Kong Ballet, as well as Studio Wayne McGregor. Hong Kong Business Update – Looking Ahead with Confidence

The London ETO and Invest Hong Kong took part in the Hong Kong Business Update seminar, which was organised by the Hong Kong Association, with the support of Standard Chartered, to update its members on Hong Kong’s latest economic and business developments. Panellists reviewed the latest economic situation in Hong Kong, highlighting key and new opportunities as well as supporting policy measures while also addressing ongoing challenges in the local and global environment. London ETO showcases Hong Kong cinema in Copenhagen

Copenhagen, January 8-10, 2026
The London ETO supported the Denmark Asian Cultural Association in presenting the "Copenhagen Hong Kong Focus Film Festival", held in Copenhagen, Denmark. An opening reception was held on January 8, prior to the screening of "Four Trails", marking the launch of the film festival. Stablecoins and Beyond – Hong Kong Charges Forward

The Economic and Trade Express, comprising the London ETO, Invest Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, co-hosted an interactive seminar and networking reception with the Hong Kong Association featuring Mr Daniel Fung, Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council, who spoke on “Stablecoins, Sustainable Finance, and Strategic Collaboration: Legal and Regulatory Insights from Hong Kong.” Mr Fung shared insights on Hong Kong’s prudent approach to stablecoin regulation and its pursuit for sustainable development of the financial industry. Promoting professional exchanges in engineering between Hong Kong and UK

London, November 4, 2025
London ETO hosted a reception in London with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) to update engineering practitioners, graduates and students in the United Kingdom on the latest developments in Hong Kong and to foster professional exchanges between the two places. The event was joined by the Director-General of the London ETO, Miss Fiona Chau; the President and Senior Vice President of HKIE, Ms Alice Chow and Professor Frank Chan; the Director of Civil Engineering and Development, Mr Michael Fong; the Chair of HKIE UK Chapter, Mr Harry Lee, and over 100 guests from the sector.
