The Government launches the 2025-26 joint recruitment exercise for Administrative Officer, Executive Officer II, Assistant Labour Officer II, Assistant Trade Officer II and Management Services Officer II. The deadline for application is 11:59 p.m. on 3 October 2025 (Hong Kong time). The recruitment is open to all permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region who meet the relevant entry requirements. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and graduating in the years of 2025-26 or 2026-27 academic years may also apply. Please visit Civil Service Bureau website for details.

Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) and Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) (Degree / Professional Grades)

For the convenience of those studying or residing outside Hong Kong, the CRE together with the paper-based BLNST (Degree / Professional Grades) is scheduled to be held on 29 November 2025 in London as well as six other cities, namely Beijing, Shanghai, New York, Toronto, Vancouver and Sydney.
