London ETO promotes innovation and technology in Sweden

London ETO cohosted a dinner reception with the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden to promote innovation and technology (I&T). The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong, as a honorary guest, pointed out in his keynote speech that Hong Kong and Sweden are both open and innovation-driven economies with highly compatible development directions. With I&T as the core of its economic strategy, Hong Kong is actively advancing key industries and establishing partnerships with leading global research institutions. London ETO promotes cultural collaboration in Edinburgh

London ETO supported Hong Kong Zheng Virtuoso Wan Xing’s performance at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, promoting cultural exchange between Hong Kong and the United Kingdom through music. During her visit to Edinburgh, Wan Xing also conducted a workshop at George Watson’s College, where she shared her experience as a professional musician and introduced students to the artistry and distinctive features of Chinese traditional music. The activities were well received by audiences and participants alike.

London ETO cohosted a seminar with City University of Hong Kong titled “Bridging Innovation: Connecting Talent and Partnerships” to promote Hong Kong’s vibrant innovation ecosystem and explore new opportunities in talent exchange and global partnerships. The event concluded with a networking reception attended by over 80 innovators and representatives from the business and academic sectors in the UK and Hong Kong, fostering exchange, collaboration and partnership building.
