Hong Kong welcomes the Year of the Horse in London with music

 

Crowds watched a spectacular "flying lion" display at the London Chinatown Chinese New Year celebration on February 2, London time. The celebration was sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, London (London ETO).

Hong Kong fusion band SIU2 performed in Trafalgar Square during the London Chinatown Chinese New Year celebration on February 2. The band's performance was sponsored by the London ETO.

The Director-General of the London ETO, Ms Erica Ng, on February 2 conveyed her best wishes for the Chinese New Year to participants of the London Chinatown Chinese New Year celebration, flanked by Hong Kong comic book characters Wind and Cloud.

London ETO's Chinese New Year reception at the Whitehall Banqueting House, London, started with a vibrant and exciting lion dance yesterday (February 6, London time).

Ms Ng delivered a speech at the Chinese New Year reception in London organised by the London ETO yesterday.

Welcoming the Year of the Horse with a toast yesterday: (from left) the Director, UK and Northern Europe of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Ms Dawn Page; the Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union, Ms Linda Lai; Ms Ng; and the Regional Director, Europe of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Mr Stephen Wong.
